Major Mfg – HIT-23 – Backset Redrill / Drill Guide for Relocating Cross Bore Holes

A must-have tool for all locksmiths. Used to “move over” an existing 2-3/8″ backset hole to 2-3/4″ or 2-3/4″ to 2-3/8″ or to correct a mis-drilled hole. The HIT-23 attatches by screwing into the existing latch faceplate mortise. A standard hole saw (not supplied) can then be guided to correct the bore. The HIT-23 is supplied with a drill blank to replace the hole saw pilot bit to reduce wear on the guide holes.
