HIT-40AR7 is for Adams Rite 4550 MS Deadbolt Lever you can install an Adams Rite 4550 MS deadbolt lever in an existing cutout and be right on the money with no binding! To add a 4550 lever to an existing lock, simply remove the inside cylinder or t-turn and replace with a HIT-22 drill guide (supplied) and slide the HIT-40AR7 over the top of the locating pin. The four mounting holes and indicator are located with hardened drill bushings. Just drill all holes with a #21 drill, tap the four corner holes 10-32 re-drill the indicator holes to 7/8″ and install!
